A LATERAL FLOW TEST, DONE WITHIN 48 HOURS OF THE EVENT, IS REQUIRED BY EVERYONE!    BRING PROOF OF THIS NEGATIVE TEST ON MONDAY & SHOW IT AT THE ARRIVAL DESK PLEASE.  NO TEST RESULT -  NO ENTRY!!!

COACHES REGISTRATION is now CLOSED -  Entry will be refused if you have not registered.

We can accept NO more Additional Adult information - if you registered on the original Athlete entry form or have emailed me before midnight Friday then you are fine.  If you are not on our lists I am afraid you will NOT be allowed to enter the Stadium
We have just sent out a letter giving details of COVID REQUIREMENTS to all athletes & officials.  There is also a copy on the athlete and Officials pages on here.  These rules apply to ALL attending and athletes have been asked to forward on to their COACHES and  Additional Adults.   
There will be NO ENTRY without a Negative Covid test result and pre registration.
We are very pleased to announce that, after discussions with England Athletics, we are able to continue with BIGish on Monday 31st May at Bedford Stadium. Strict COVID-19 protocols will be in place at the Stadium throughout the weekend and we believe that as long as these sensible precautions are taken the risk will be minimal to all.   In line with the EA CE Champs we are also asking ALL attending to take COVID-19 rapid lateral flow test and provide evidence on arrival at the Stadium that their test has returned a negative result.  We are really looking forward to seeing you all on Monday and to a safe, enjoyable, sunny day of top class athletics.

ADDITIONAL ADULTS (Max 2 per athlete)  and COACHES MUST pre-register by 23.59 tonight (Fri 28th) or you will not be allowed access.

  • BIGish 2021 will be run in line with Government & England Athletics Requirements and will be held within a Covid safe environment

  • Entry site is now open 

  • Standards for all events are as stated above and on the Standards Page.

  • All competitions may be mixed and will be seeded after the closing date

  • THROWS - All athletes will throw with Senior weights except UKA / EA invited U18 & U20 athletes  who will be allowed to throw with their own weight implement.
